Above is a sheet of Perspex that I have used the laser cutter out the word 'SPACIAL', in different sizes and fonts to experiment creating special sculptures, and how it changes the surrounding space with the reflection of the Perspex colour.
Above is a dry point print using process blue with white to create a light shade. The print is based one the map of Northern England, after I started to make the connection of internal space (maps inside the human) and external space (roads, traffic maps).  This piece was one of four pieces selected for the Sheffield Young Artists Exhibition.
This is the last piece that was featured in the Sheffield Young Artists Exhibition. It is a dry point of Northern England roads using a process purple. This one is a triple overprint.
This piece was one of four pieces that was selected to participate in the Sheffield Young Artists Exhibition in summer 2016. This was a mixed media study I created based on a photograph (below) of the word 'SPACIAL' I created in a 3D form. I have used, cardboard, acrylic paint, charcoal, oil pastels, embroidery thread, and a collage using newspaper.
This piece was also selected for the Sheffield Young Artists Exhibition. Again I have created a painting of the 3D spacial sculpture. Below is the primary image of what I painted. I have used textured wallpaper, brown paper, sack, acrylic paint, newspaper, charcoal and graphite.
This piece is a worked on study sheet that is made up of lino cut prints, ancient maps, road maps, planet and star signs on acetate, and road maps/ human maps on acetate. On top are different colour Perspex that I had laser cut out for a 3d sculpture experiment.
This study sheet is a mixture of 2 large lino cut prints with one having an overprint of the dry point on. Then connecting both prints together has two acetate maps that I have matched the best I can so the whole piece flows together.
On this study sheet, I have 2 lino cut prints, one is a overlap print of pink and purple while the other is a lilac with dots of ink missing. I used white sprit to create this. It reminds me of blood cells in the body which links with the human maps. over the top I have layered 3 acetate maps linking the together to create one piece.
On this study sheet I have 2 lino cut prints layered with 4 acetate maps in a square composition
This study sheet is photos of different colour Perspex looking at the reflection of colours overlap creating new colours using a handheld light.
This study sheet is the same as above but looking at the scale and length of the Perspex reflection. For Example, the lower the light , the further the reflection, the higher the light, the shorter the reflection.
This study sheet I also based it on length and scale like above.
This study sheet is one of many that are the best photographs from taking photos and changing the brightness and contrast of the Perspex letters.
This study sheet is a mixture of paintings using acrylic paint of the Perspex letters I made with different brightness and contrast. I also used watercolour, and Indian ink on some.
This is another study sheet on some photos focusing on reflection I did and then when onto creating paintings of.
Another study sheet looking at Perspex letters that I have painted from photos above.
Study Sheet of Perspex letters
Study sheet of paintings from Perspex letters above. Also I have a painting of a paper sculpture spelling out the word maps on this study sheet from photos on the next image.
This study sheet is images of the paper sculpture of the word maps using blue Indian ink which I wrote the word 'SPACIAL' on using bleach and collage of maps on top.
This study sheet was inspired by Claes Oldenburg and Little Urban Figures of looking a scale with space. Here I scanned my  Perspex Letters into the computer and photoshoped the letters into random backgrounds.
This is an A1 mixed media piece based on the photo below. This was right at the beginning of when I walked around the college taking photos  of things related to the word 'spacial'.
My A2 Coursework for Fine Art based on the word 'SPACIAL' Study Sheets
In this project, I spent up to 9 months exploring the word in depth, finally reaching an outcome (posted separately). For a full length description of what I did do for the entire project, check out my blog post all about it at artwithatwisthlm.wordpress.com . For this post, I have bundled all my study sheets and extras for the project separately due to the amount of work created. Hope you all enjoy :)
