AS LEVEL FINE ART: MIXED MEDIA
Continuing on developing our own styles, and mixed media techniques, We moved onto creating anything we wanted experimenting with media and getting inspiration from artists. The focal point was on the word transformation and still life. We looked at creating paintings of still life objects which we painted in warm tones and cool tones using shadows and highlights. We also looked into creating still life arrangements using collage and other media. It was an activity to develop our primary drawing skills, instead of relying on secondary images. My final outcome for this part of my coursework ended up being a collage of different shaped bottles using thread to can a sunset like a background. Before my final outcome, I created mini compositions by photocopying the layouts to decide which one I preferred.
